PROFILE | Andrew Morton Andrew began his career in Human Resources over 20 years ago when he joined the South African Air Force. He spent 4 years in “Personnel” before moving to London where he worked for a subsidiary of British Telecom called “Phonepoint”. On his return to South Africa in late 1990, Andrew joined The Kelmac Group of Personnel Companies as a Recruitment Consultant and soon worked his way up to Branch Manager of Kelly Germiston, a position he held until October 1994 when he was again promoted to the newly established National Client Services Division of the Kelly Group. |

In mid 1995, he left the Kelmac Group to join the HR Management Consultancy, FSA Contact where we worked with various HR related IT systems as the Sales & Marketing Consultant with products such as Peromnes, Task & The Peodesy HRMIS. In October 2004, he was offered a Directorship by Siyakha and became the Group Business Development Director for the group. In this role, he was responsible for marketing Siyakha’s HR services to clients and customers in both the public and private sectors. Andrew left Siyakha Consulting in July 2007 to start The HR HUB. He is married to Laura-anne, has 3 children and his interests include Marathon running, Collecting red wine, Music, Travelling and Comedy. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ |

PROFILE | Lara Haskins
Lara started her working career at a recruitment agency in 1990. She worked in the HR field, primarily in the legal profession until 1999 and then moved into the IT industry where she gained most of her experience. Lara is a strong HR generalist, but has specialised in skills development, specifically learnerships which she implemented, co-ordinated and managed, employee wellness, including HIV/AIDS, and recruitment. She is a highly experienced recruiter having been exposed to all levels of recruitment from graduate recruitment and learnership selection through to headhunting and search assignments. She has implemented and managed preferred provider processes and SLAs. |

She has been trained on targeted selection, has written interview guidelines and procedures for line managers and been involved with implementing and rolling out preferred vendor processes and procedures. Lara holds an honours degree in Psychology and a diploma in HR Management and is hoping to pursue her Masters studies. Lara has two children and she enjoys spending quality time with them. Her interests include travelling in Africa, spinning, interior design and photography. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ |
